Thomas Meier has been part of the MainFirst team since January 2015. He is responsible for MainFirst Global Dividend Stars. Before joining MainFirst, he worked in fund management at the Sparkasse subsidiary Deka, where he headed up the “Europe” team and, prior to that, the “Developed Market Equities” team. He also successfully launched and managed a global dividend product. Meier also spent three years as a board member and Portfolio Manager at the owner-run investment boutique Loys and eight years as a Portfolio Manager at Union Investment. It was at Union Investment that Thomas Meier managed the UniGlobal flagship product and also led the global equities team. He studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and holds a degree in business management.
